A democracy is all about giving space to one another. The most commonly used weapon in India to voice your protests is a bharat bandh/strike/hartal.. This does not have any relevance in the present day context. Maybe pre independence they made a point but even today I find ppl use INQUILAB ZINDABAD ( Long Live the Revolution-- what are we revolting against today, I do not know). This is so hilarious...
Does a country say Turkey hold am All Turkey bandh ? Imagine an all USA Bandh..!!
Seriously speaking we need more creative ideas while making a point..
